Born and raised in Hawai'i, I am a graduate of Hawai'i Pacific University with a BA in Speech Communication and a MA in Communication. In 2000, I worked at Clear Channel Communications in events/promotions and on-air broadcast for KIKI-FM. 2005 was a highlight year for me as I gave up my title of Miss Hawai'i 2004 and also began a career in television, starting with OC 16. In 2007, my experience in television news began at KHON2, as a general assignment reporter and then Wake Up 2day news anchor in 2009 and through 2014.
I have more than 17 years experience in the communications, broadcast and media industry. Award-winning journalist, noted photographer and volunteer for Special Olympics Hawaii, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Life Foundation... I am committed to helping my community, through positive experiences and will work hard to bring out the best in others.
